My Sister in I Star in the Nutcracker

this would be me and liz when we performed as russian children (i think) in the nutcracker. now, there's no date on this, but if i had to guess i would say i am 5 and liz is 6.

i don't know what is more amazing: liz's perfectly coiffed hair or the fact that my scarf is taking over my head or maybe it is the fact that we are posing in a very serious ballerina pose for just a normal back-stage picture. ah, childhood.

now liz is probably angry at me for this, but really, it only got worse from here for us. it got a little better for her in jr. high but things really didn't start looking up for me until around junior year of high school.
